We are currently collecting donations for the camping trip happening in September 2018.

The total cost of the camping trip is around $17,000, which includes transportation, overnight accommodation, meals, and all programming for 3 days and 2 nights. Due to a district-wide cap on the amount that can be charged to each family for a field trip, we are only able to ask for $50 per student, when in actuality the trip costs around $150 per child.


Every family should contribute $50 for their child to attend the camping trip, as per the policy. Please make your payments by check. 


But if you can, we’d like to ask you to give a little more. You may donate a few dollars, pay for the actual cost of your child’s trip ($150), or even sponsor another child with a generous donation. No donation is too small.

If your company matches your charitable donations, don’t forget that the Watchung PTA is registered as a 501(c)(3) non-profit. Let us know when you submit your donation that we should be on the look out for your company's contribution.
